Pat Dinneen is a Managing Director at
Siguler Guff & Company. She has the
responsibility of managing the firm's
new private equity BRIC Opportunities
Fund, focusing on the large and fast
growing economies of Brazil, Russia,
India and China.
Prior to joining in August 2004, she
worked at Cambridge Associates, an
independent financial consulting firm,
where she specialized in emerging
markets, private equity advisory
services, including asset allocation
planning, benchmarking analysis, market
research, manager searches and due
diligence. Prior to joining Cambridge
Associates, she founded a consulting
firm specializing in telecommunications
and business development, working with
start-up ventures. She worked for ten
years at British Telecommunications in
London where she held a variety of
positions in corporate strategy,
business development, global marketing,
and mergers & acquisitions, involving
investments and joint ventures in the
US, Europe and Asia. She has also held
positions at Hughes Communications, The
RAND Corporation, and the White House.
Dr. Dinneen received her B.A. in
Economics from the University of
Pennsylvania, her M.S. from the London
School of Economics, and her Ph.D. in
Economics from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, specializing in
regulatory economics and technology.
