Ramanan Raghavendran is a Managing Director of TH Lee Putnam Ventures, the technology-focused private equity affiliate of Thomas H. Lee Partners, a leading buyout firm, and Putnam Investments, a leading global money management firm. Mr. Raghavendran leads the firm’s efforts in cross-border outsourcing.

Ramanan was formerly a senior partner at Insight Venture Partners, where he invested in business process outsourcing and enterprise software companies, including offshore investing via ConnectCapital, an Insight affiliate. Prior to joining Insight, Ramanan was a senior member of the investment team at General Atlantic Partners, where he initiated the Internet-related investment effort and also led sector efforts in IT services and enterprise software. Ramanan was formerly a consultant with McKinsey & Company in New York and London. He is the founder and chairman of Impact Partners, a leading venture philanthropy firm.

He holds a B.S. in finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a B.S.E. in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania's Moore School of Engineering.
